Nothing’s worse than craving a succulent piece of bacon for your BLT sandwich, but not quite feeling like pulling out the pan, waiting for the bacon to cook, and then having to wash the pan just for a few pieces of bacon. Baking the whole pack of bacon at one time is great because it allows you to always have cooked bacon on hand when you need it most.
Things you’ll need:
• Baking pan
Preheat oven to 350 ºF (177 ºC) Line a baking pan with foil, and lay the strips of bacon on the pan without overlapping them too much.
Bake for 20-30 minutes depending on how done you like your bacon. Personally I’m more of a chewy bacon guy.
If you want to drain the grease off the bacon just take a few bamboo skewers across a pan or deep dish, and drip the bacon grease off that way.
Place the bacon in a zip-lock bag, date it, and refrigerate.
Take the pan and pour that sweet, sweet bacon nectar into a jar for later cooking.
