Say what you will about baths, but after a long, hard day a bath is what my battered body yearns for. Afterwards my skin feels clean, my muscles feel relaxed, and my body feels refreshed.

My basic recipe is:

  • 4 parts – Epson Salt
  • 2 parts – Sea Salt (Fine Grain Himalayan Pink Sea Salt or Celtic Sea Salt)
  • 1 part – Baking Soda

But I sometimes change it up from time to time, especially if i’m making it as a gift. Some good additions are:

  • Essential Oils
  • Fine Grain Oatmeal
  • Dried Herbs (will need to be washed off the sides of your tub)
    • Green Tea
    • Rose Petals
    • Ginger
    • Rosemary
    • Some people even use Ground Mustard Seeds

Mix all ingredients in a large bowl.

Pack in an air tight container.
